New Australian Council of the Arts work

 

Loving Sydney-based studio, Ascender's, new work for the Australian Council of the Arts. Super simple, super effective. I believe this was worked on by Adrian and one of our grads, Victoria. Great work guys, and looking forward to seeing the new website!

Lettercult: Best of 2010

For some really awe inspiring typography check out Lettercult: the best of 2010. Definitely worth getting a cuppa, putting your feet up and having a good scroll as there's 13 pages of goodness (and that's just day 1).

Going it alone

 

If you are interested in going it alone, then take note from Manchester/Somewhere in Europe, all rounder Christopher Gray. Running many thing's from his own illustration label Toy, to creating stunningly simplistic illustrations as well as working as a designer, art director and who know's what else, his hard work is his success and is definitely worth noting!

Shillington graduate gets her work up big.

Elisha Schnell graduated from Shillington College in May 2010 with an outstandingly unique portfolio. She is what I would call a 'chic geek'. She had an interesting path to design, originally trained as an actress then through an interest in the web became a web master for a corporate and front end programmer later working for a major charity in Australia.

She has always had personal passion for illustration which played a significant role in her design solutions during college projects and in her recently commissioned work for Canada Bay Council, Sydney.
